We planted a little joy at Vilara 🪴
Our succulent social brought neighbors together for a night of creativity, connection, and the sweetest little details. From building custom terrariums (tiny bees and all 🐝) to enjoying succulent-inspired baked treats, it was one of those evenings that remind us why we love calling this place home.
At Vilara, we don’t just live side by side — we live and grow together.

In case you missed the recent announcement, we are thrilled to share that a brand-new vending machine has been installed on the 8th floor, left of the elevator.

March in Laguna Niguel means the return of our majestic neighbors! Get ready for the 55th Annual Dana Point Festival of Whales, happening just minutes from Vilara. It’s the ultimate celebration of the California Gray Whale migration and a must-do OC tradition.

On Sunday, March 15, 2026, head over to Yorba Regional Park in Anaheim for one of Orange County’s most beloved St. Paddy's traditions. This event offers a flat, fast course that winds through the park's scenic beauty, making it the perfect spot to hit a personal best or enjoy a brisk morning walk with friends. The best part? Every runner is rewarded with a free pancake breakfast at the finish line! Pet of the Month: Meet Happy! 🐾
Meet Happy, a 12-year-old Bichon Frise originally from Northern California who is living up to his name here at Vilara! This small, fluffy "care bear" is the definition of a sweetheart. He truly believes that every person he passes in the hallway is just a best friend he hasn't met yet.
Happy loves the social life at Vilara, where he’s been busy expanding his horizons by making friends with neighbors, fellow pups, and even the local cats. When he’s not out networking or on a road trip with his dad, you can find him catching up on some serious beauty sleep. However, Happy also has a surprisingly sophisticated side: when his dad is away, he enjoys binge-watching 80s classics like The A-Team and Miami Vice. Clearly, he’s a dog with impeccable taste!
As far as snacks go, Happy isn't picky—his favorite food is "anything edible," and he’s highly motivated to prove it. If you see this charming gentleman around the community, please stop and say hi; he’s always ready to trade a tail wag for a friendly greeting!
